4. Smart Contract Code Handling
We take the security and confidentiality of your smart contract code seriously:
- No storage after scan: Source code submitted for free scans is analyzed in real-time and is not stored on our servers after the scan completes.
- Paid scan reports: For paid scan tiers, we retain the generated report (not the source code) for 30 days to allow you to access your results. After 30 days, reports are automatically deleted.
- No sharing: We never share, sell, or distribute your source code to any third party.
- No training: Your submitted code is not used to train any machine learning models.
5. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We may share limited data with:
- Stripe: Payment processing. Stripe handles all payment data under their own privacy policy. We do not store your credit card numbers.
- Law enforcement: If required by law, subpoena, or court order.
We do not use any third-party advertising networks or sell data to data brokers.
6. Data Retention
- Account data: Retained while your account is active. You may request deletion at any time.
- Scan source code: Not retained after scan completion.
- Paid scan reports: Retained for 30 days, then automatically deleted.
- Analytics data: Page view analytics are retained for up to 12 months, then purged.
- Payment records: Retained as required by tax and financial regulations (typically 7 years).
7. Cookies & Local Storage
We use minimal cookies and local storage:
- Session cookie: To maintain your login session. This is a functional cookie necessary for the site to work. It expires when you close your browser or log out.
- Local storage: To remember your scan preferences and improve your experience. This data stays on your device and is not transmitted to our servers.
We do not use tracking cookies, third-party analytics cookies, or advertising cookies. Our analytics are self-hosted and privacy-respecting.

We implement reasonable security measures to protect your data, including:
- HTTPS encryption for all data in transit
- Rate limiting and abuse prevention systems
- Access controls limiting who can view user data
- Regular security reviews of our infrastructure
No system is 100% secure. While we take data protection seriously, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
